Rob Waterson is a 4th Dan in Karate
Shihan Dai Rob or sensei as he is referred in the dojo has been studying Karate for over 25 years. A former school teacher, Rob is known by his peers as a strong and capable martial artist who know how to drive an energy filled class.
Shihan Dai Rob Waterson is highly respected as a martial artist and is especially at home as a teacher, where he enjoys helping others improve their skills. Shihan Dai Rob has the skills to be able to communicate with all of his students regardless of age or ability level and is able to draw out the best in everyone. Robs school teaching skills have enabled him to read his students and understand their needs, he also has the physical ability to lead by example and take his students from beginner to advanced in a short period of time.
Shihan Dai Rob Waterson is certainly not new to coaching, he has been a football caoch for many of his adult years following an impressive Australian Football career as a player.
Shihan Dai Rob is a valued member of the teaching staff at the Bendigo Mixed Martial Arts Academy and devotes his time to training and teaching others. Rob firmly believes that every student should and will feel better about themselves when they walk out of his classes than when they walked in - both physically and mentally.
