Virginia Casey is a 4th Dan in Kenshinkan karate.
Virginia has been training over 39 years continually at Honbu Dojo Burleigh Heads RSL Gold Coast, at which she has completed all her Dan gradings. The Kenshinkan gradings are renown for pushing their practitioners to the limits not just with knowledge but as a test of strength, courage, and endurance. It’s easy to see how Virginia has become such an indispensable role model to others.
Virginia has served on the National All Styles and World All Styles Boards of Directors over the past 30 years. Throughout this time, Virginia has injected a positive influence and helped motivate everyone involved in the Tournament Circuit’s expansion throughout Australia.
When Virginia is not teaching in the dojo, she is accompanying her husband and fellow martial artist Kancho Jim Casey around the States of Australia, officiating at all main events.
Virginia is a well know personality in Australian Martial Arts and is highly respected by all who know her. She is loved by her students and endeared by her local community of Gold Coast for her work and service in helping others reach their full potential.
