Shihan dai Jacob Commadeur is a 4th Dan in Karate Shihan dai Jacob has been training in Karate since he was a 7 years old. Today he is one of Teshinkai Karate's most valued instructors. Shihan dai jacob understands what it is like to transition from a junior student to a senior. He undertands the pressures as a teenager to quit, but also how to overcome these pressures and use balance to ensure a successful martial arts career. Shihandai Jacob is highly regarded by his peers, not only as a high performance practitioner and fighter but as a human being. Shihan dai jacob is often relied upon as a technical expert and has guided many students to achieve high scores in their gradings all the way up to high level black belt. Peter Tyack is a 5th Dan Black belt in Karate Shihan Peter Tyack is a well respected martial arts teacher who began his training in Kyokushinkai Karate in 1990, he is an avid sports person in multiple sporting discipline including but not limited to cricket and Australian Rule Football (AFL). As a mentor to many students Shihan Peter has stayed the journey of many students in helping them achieve their black belt and other martial arts goals. Shihan Peter is known as a traditionalist who emphasises strong, hard training accompanies with the support that is need to help students reach their own personal goals. Shihan Peter is also well know in the secondary schools system in Central Victoria for his work with mentoring and reshaping their lives. His active work in the "Kenshusei Skills for Life" saw many thousands of secondary school students achieve not belt rankings within Teshinkai Karate, but also improve their overall school rankings via the ATAR (Australian Tertiary Assessment Rank) Shihan Peter is a government recognised trainer and assessor who has assisted even many more secondary school students gain formal qualifications for their participation in martial arts via the Victorian Governments School Based Apprenticeship Scheme. school based apprenticship scheme that ran between 2005 and 2013. Adrian Delia is a 6th Dan Black Belt in Karate. Kyoshi Adrian is the Chief Instructor of Northern Goju Karate with over 33 years of Goju karate experience 14 in Arnis (Filipino Stick Fighting) and 28 years teaching experience. He is an NCAS Level 1 Coach (Nationally Recognised Coach, Accredited by the AKF), and has his Level 2 First Aid.
He is also recognised as a certified coach by the MAA (Martial Arts Australia). Kyoshi Adrian is praised for his high level of motivational, communication and technical skills in 'Karate', 'Arnis', and 'Ground Awareness', whilst creating a fun and exciting class environment for all to enjoy. Kyoshi Adrian has instructed many students to the prestigious Black Belt grade, and higher levels, and has also trained many State and National Champions.
Kyoshi Adrian's aim is to pass on his karate knowledge and to continually help students progress effectively through their karate journey in a safe and enjoyable atmosphere, whilst offering excellent knowledge in self-defence strategies and techniques, and to motivate our students to aspire to greater accomplishments in both karate and in their everyday lives. Sensei Ian Mathews is a 4rd Dan Black Belt in Teshinkai Karate. Sensei Ian began his martial arts journey over 20 years ago with the Teshinkai Karate Organization. Sensei Ian always believe in giving his all in his training and has become a major contributor to the growth and development of many students. Sensei Ian has competed successfully in heavyweight divisions of full contact karate and has been able to turn that experienc into sound advice for those who wish to follow a similar task. Its fair to say the Sensei Ian imposing fram and size plays a big part in his reputation of being a fierce fighter, whilst at the same time being a person of compassion as he demonstates the empathy needed in providing encouragement to others. Sensei Ian hasfor many years contributed to the teaching of hundreds of students that pass through the Teshinkai club. He is respected by all for his attention to detail when teaching technique and is able to break movement down to teach even the most uncoordinated. Sensie Ian also enjoys teaching in the Teshinkai famous school programs and is often requested for his instruction capabilities. Sensei Ian is always keen to empart his knowledge for the betterment and development of others. His personality and demeanor contribute to his teaching style of "Iron Fist, Velvet Glove!"
