Ian (Aussie) Pape is a 4th Dan Black Belt in Karate. Aussie Pape has been bestowed the title of Shihan under the Kenshinkan International Karate Organisation to which he belongs. The title Shihan or Master Coach is a privileged title that describes the status one hold within an organisation and clearly this title reflects a man who has committed his life to martial arts and works diligently to benefit the lives of those in his care. Shihan Pape is a seasoned competitor, judge and practitioner. Beginning his martial arts journey at a young age Shihan Pape has taken the long road to be at the top of his game. Shihan Pape is a senior judge with the NAS - National All Styles, which is the largest and most popular artial arts tournament circuit in Australia. As a martial arts school owner, Shihan Pape runs the successful Forest Lake Dojo in Brisbane and Pilates Studio "The Pilates Domain." Shihan Pape is known in his community as a man of strong character who believes in the concept of hard work and perseverance to help forge strong, resilient bodies and minds with his students. However it is his caring demeanour that parents enthusiasticly entrust their children to help guide them on their own path to success. The Kenshinkan International Karate-do Organisation is a traditional full contact martial art system that is recognised in Australia and abroad.
