Susie Salman

Susie Salman is a 2nd Degree Black Belt with Jindokai Martial Arts Organisation, where she not only serves as an instructor but also plays a key role as the Business Manager. Susie began her journey in martial arts in November 2012, initially joining Jindokai Karate-Do to support her children. However, long after her kids moved on, Susie remained passionate about karate, continuing her training and rising through the ranks to achieve her 2nd-Dan Black Belt.

Her deep commitment to Jindokai has seen her take on a range of responsibilities, and she is a classic example of a parent who joined to support her family but found a personal connection to martial arts that continues to shape her life. Today, Susie manages crucial aspects of the dojo's operations, including membership plans, inducting new members, and teaching both adults and children. Almost every current colored-belt member at Jindokai started their martial arts journey under her guidance, making her an integral part of the students' progression and success.

As an instructor, Sensei Susie is known for her approachable yet firm teaching style. She strongly advocates for the value of traditional martial arts training, believing it helps individuals cultivate discipline, balance, passion, and resilience. Susie plays a significant role in the Jindokai system, mentoring students and acting as a powerful role model for women in martial arts. Her dedication to fostering a positive, structured environment has made her an inspiration to both young and adult practitioners alike.

In addition to her technical skills, Susie’s influence extends beyond the mat. As Jindokai’s Business Manager, she ensures the smooth operation of the dojo and contributes to its growth and success.
