Taylor, a highly accomplished martial artist, holds the esteemed rank of 4th Dan black belt in Shotokan Karate, a discipline she learned under the guidance of her father, Warren Hickey. With over 20 years of martial arts experience, Taylor has emerged as a formidable force in the realm of karate, securing numerous victories in state, national, and international competitions.

Beyond her martial arts prowess, Taylor has also pursued academic excellence. She holds a double degree from Charles Sturt University, having successfully completed a Bachelor of Communication with a double major in public relations and business. This combination of expertise allows Taylor to excel not only in the physical aspects of karate but also in effective communication and business strategies.

Taylor plays a pivotal role in the design and instruction of the karate syllabus. Drawing upon her extensive experience, she has meticulously structured the program to empower students to develop a solid foundation of fitness and skills. Over time, students progress through the curriculum, mastering techniques and gaining confidence as they celebrate their achievements throughout their martial arts journey.

In addition to her involvement in karate, Taylor takes charge of the beginner and intermediate fitness programs at the dojo. These specialized classes prioritize the dual objectives of shedding excess fat and building lean muscle. By combining elements of cardio and strength training, Taylor ensures that her students experience transformative results and enjoy improved overall fitness.
