Introduction
George Adams - Hanshi is an 8th Dan in Karate and 2nd Degree Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. The founder of Budoshinkai Martial Arts has over 45 years experience in the martial arts and first made his mark on the industry as a fierce competitor in the Australia competition circuit. Many years of training has gone into what Budoshinkai Karate Jitsu is today. Based on traditional Karate, there are also other components that make up this martial art, and with the influence of his Brazilian Jiu Jitsu talents the Budoshinkai system is a formidable organisation. Hanshi George Adams is well respected amongst his peers in the martial arts industry as well as his local community. As a former Sergeant in the NSW Police Force (recently retired after 41 years) George understands too well the impact that a well-structured martial arts program has for troubled youths, and this is one of the reasons why George is such a passionate believer in the values and provided to all participants. It's fair to say that everything Hanshi George has accomplished over the years, (and they are plenty) it's clear to see that it is his martial arts background that has guided him. Many talk of Budo Spirit, (the art of peace, and never giving up in accomplishing your quest) but Hanshi George Adams exemplifies “budo” and by default is able to lead all of his students to realise the inner potential that exists in all of them. George Adams can guide students to success via a formula of hard training, that allows an indomitable spirit to manifest and compassion and friendship that gives his students a sense of belonging and team spirit. Hanshi George Adams looks forward to spending even more time on the mats and continuing his legacy to conduct a great martial arts program for everyone, from beginner to advanced!
