Kancho Ino Maquirang, the esteemed founder of Jin Sei Ryu Karate-Do, is a highly accomplished martial artist with an impressive 7th Degree Black Belt in Karate. With over 45 years of international experience in the field, Kancho has dedicated himself to honing the skills of his students and guiding them on a transformative journey. His passion for teaching extends to children as young as 4 years old, as he believes in nurturing their potential from an early age and continuing to mentor them throughout their academic pursuits.

Having participated in more than 250 tournaments worldwide, Kancho has proven himself as a formidable competitor in the martial arts community. He has also excelled in coaching students of all ages, enabling them to reach the pinnacle of their abilities and compete at the highest levels. His expertise has been sought after in various corners of the globe, as he has instructed and engaged in demonstrations and seminars across Japan, New Zealand, Australia, England, Italy, South Africa, Hong Kong/China, and throughout the United States.

Kancho's contributions extend beyond physical demonstrations, as he has appeared in instructional videos and authored books to share his knowledge and insights with a broader audience. In recognition of his outstanding skill and dedication, he was honored with induction into the prestigious Blitz Magazine Hall of Fame in 1997 as the Outstanding Kata Competitor of the Year.

In addition to his martial arts achievements, Kancho holds a Master's degree from New York University, which he obtained in 1994, and a Bachelor's degree from Georgetown University, earned in 1987. These academic accomplishments further enhance his holistic approach to karate-do.

The establishment of Jin Sei Ryu Karate-Do was a natural progression for Kancho Ino. Drawing from his extensive teaching experience, careful observation of students, and continuous refinement of his instructional methods, he founded this style to embody his personal philosophy and experiences in karate.
