Introduction
M. Samantha Ranga Mayadunna is a 5th Dan Black belt in Karate Shihan Mayadunna is also the Sri Lanka Branch Chief of the Kyokushinkaikan Allied Karate organisation. He began his Karate training in 1994 in his district of Narammala in Sri Lanka. As a young student and like many students of karate in Asia, his ambition was to train and compete to represent his style of Kyokushinkai. shihan Mayadunna's competition involvement had him travel to many parts of his nation to compete, referee and mentor his many students. On the mat, Shihan Mayadunna is renown as a fierce competitor, but its off the mat where Shihan believes his best work is done. His role as a mentor to others has elevated him to the status of master teacher and it is from here that he is able to change the lives for the better of the many students under his care. Shihan Mayadunna looks forward to developing his organisation under the Kyokushinkaikan Allied Karate banner and expects that the future of his organisation will be beneficial to many hundreds of students both young and old.
